Students worked on finalizing their pixel ratio, fraction, and percentage math art!
Objects were passed around the classroom to spark writing/ story ideas! A class discussion on "does war teach humanity anything?" based on media occurred. We discussed how in world war 1 it is okay to kill people, during video games it is okay to kill people, and in real life we know that it is NOT okay to kill people. What determines these norms? Students displayed exceptional critical thinking skills during our conversation! Students were asked how living on earth and living on space would be different. Videos will be displayed on some life hacks in space by Chris Hadfield tomorrow! As a class students were challenged to complete a Jeopardy game - solar system style! Students worked together to read different one hundred charts and write down the fraction, decimal, and percentage. Students received another hundred chart which they are suppose to create a design with AT LEAST 6 colours.

The final health class to work on presentations was completed! In record time students completed TUSC within TWO PERIODS! Wonderful presentations and listening skills! Students had a final class period to work on their trench letter assignment. There is NO school tomorrow. In math we began to discuss percentages, followed by math stations. Students chose an idiom to draw and represent to be displayed in the classroom Monday. There was a "town meeting" about the conscription crisis during social studies! Students received a little science review for their unit test on TUESDAY April 24th.
